Introducing the Voyce Pro™ Wellness Monitoring Program
By: Jeff Noce, Voyce President
Here at Voyce, we are passionate about helping pet parents understand their dogs on a deeper level, strengthen their bond and take away the anxiety and guesswork when it comes to their pets’ health and wellbeing.
To that end, we’re always looking for new ways to put this state-of-the-art technology to work for pets and people. That’s why I’m so excited to announce the latest advancement in personalized pet healthcare: The Voyce Pro Wellness Monitoring Program.
This program, which will be formally unveiled at the American Veterinary Medical Association Conference on July 11th, provides veterinarians, their teams and pet parents with a whole new level of insight and control over both long term (chronic) and short term (acute) conditions, such as:
- Heart disease
- Joint disease
- Respiratory disease
- Heartworm treatment
- Obesity or weight management
- Pre or post surgery monitoring
- Exercise tolerance
- Neuromuscular disease
- Physical rehabilitation
- Spinal disease
- Anxiety or behavior concerns
Through the Voyce Pro Wellness Monitoring Program, veterinarians will be able to pinpoint whether a patient needs attention by remotely accessing key vital signs, wellness indicators, profile information, notes, trending graphs and more. Hospitals can also set customized health parameters for each patient, and they will receive an alert if wellness indicators move outside of those parameters.
The reliable, objective data collected by Voyce Pro, combined with examinations, diagnostics and input from the pet parent, gives veterinary professionals the opportunity to fine-tune medications and therapies, and quickly respond to potential issues or complications.
The Voyce Pro Wellness Monitoring System takes a three-part approach to pet care and recovery: Monitor, Identify and Manage.
Dogs are genetically programmed to hide pain and other physical ailments. This makes it difficult for even the most observant pet parent to identify any underlying problems. The Wellness Monitoring Program is designed to give a clearer picture of a dog’s overall health by tracking key vital signs and important health and wellness indicators such as:
- Resting Heart Rate
- Resting Respiratory Rate
- Activity and Intensity
- Quality of Rest
- Calories Burned
By remotely monitoring their dog patients after surgery or illness, veterinarians will be able to detect potential warning signs or complications between office visits. At the same time, pet parents can track trends and note any physical or behavioral changes in the Wellness Management System. These data points and observations will help pet parents and veterinarians identify changes in how the dog is feeling, thinking, and behaving.
Early detection of pain or other health issues allows dog parents and veterinarians to be more proactive when it comes to protecting pets and making decisions regarding ongoing health management, treatment and care. With access to the most comprehensive, reliable and objective data available, both parties can work together as a team to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
I’m sure it’s easy to see why we’re so excited about the new Voyce Pro Wellness Management Program. If you’re a dog parent, speak to your vet about bringing Voyce Pro to his or her practice.
